Megan grew up in Lindenhurst, IL in Northern Illinois. She was educated and graduated from College of Lake County with an Associates Degree and the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.
While at the University of Mississippi, Megan was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She kept busy with student committees across campus and helped lead various activities with the organizations. One of the highlights for Megan was serving on the Executive Board for the Ole Miss Big Event which is a campus wide day of volunteering.
Megan was an active participant and leader in the Illinois 4-H program for over 10 years at the county, state and national levels. She enjoyed meeting other youth and adults across the state and country. Megan was able to gain leadership and public speaking skills throughout her 4-H tenure as well as develop a love for organizing public service volunteer events.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys reading and collecting books. When she is not reading she enjoys being creative through sewing, crafting and baking. You may also find her watching college sports or exploring new places while traveling.
